Question of the Day - 3

I am very proud of you guys, you are finally catching on. Isn't it more fun this way? Its amazing how many people would wish for more money. I don't blame you, its pretty much the driving factor for most people.

Even though we had a good turn out on that question, Angel found it to be too thought provoking. And he was ashamed to admit he wanted money. Shames on you Angel! You're just like everyone else.

I thought that that was an easy question, but apparently not for everyone. So here is a topic that has been widely discussed at SDH:

Is it okay for a guy to get a manicure?
How about a pedicure? Nail polish?

This one is easy for me to answer. For anyone who knows me, they know I love getting manicures. I have also gotten a pedicure or two in my life. I see absolutely nothing wrong with a guy taking care of himself. The fact that it is seen as a female act, is a false constraint that we have placed upon it. The reality is, it is good to take care of you nails. It is also very relaxing and soothing to have someone take care of you for awhile. And when it comes to polish, I am all for that as well. Supposedly I went through a polish "phase". When the truth is, if I had the time and the money to keep it up, I would probably still be wearing black nail polish. It really freaks people out for no reason. I am the same person with or without polish, but some people can't see through that. I think we really need to open our minds and become more accepting of things. Remember, "You can't judge a book by its cover."
