Question of the Day - 2

I never thought it would be this hard to choose a question, there are so many great things out there to discuss. Thankfully, there will be more days, and more questions.

Lets ease ourselves into this process with a fairly simple question:

If you had the opportunity to have three wishes granted,
what would they be? Why?

I'm sure we have all had this question posed to us at one point in our lives, but I think our answers can change on a daily basis.

This is what I would wish for:

My first wish would have to be for money. Not in a selfish, spoiled kind of way. I just wish I had enough money to live comfortably. I would like to be able to afford to do all the things that I want and spend my days doing things that make me happy. It would be nice to be able to afford to see the people who mean so much to me, even when they do not live close by.

That leads me to my second wish. I wish I could be closer to my family, especially my nieces. I have three beautiful nieces, that live in Oklahoma. The youngest are twins, born November 2007, and I have still yet had a chance to meet them. I wish I could be a bigger part of their lives, and them mine. I come from a small family and wish that we could all spend more time together.

My third wish is a little more obscure than the first two. I wish I appreciated life more. Too often in life, we get caught up on the little details and often take for granted everything that we have going for us. I think that that would be the most amazing feeling, to really be able to appreciate. Imagine waking up and being grateful for another day, a warm bed, a job, a family. Think about all the things that we have that we really don't appreciate, and think about what it would be like to lose them. Its kind of freaky to think about how unappreciative we actually are.

I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Take a few minutes and think about what you really want, and share it with us. You might be suprised by what people would wish for, or even what you yourself would wish for.

  1. 1. Money. Im not Josh, I dont want to just live comfortably. I want so much money that I could do amazing things for people in need, especially children. Think Bill Gates times 50.... If I had the means, I would make every effort to dramatically change the lives of children that are in need. In fact, I should be doing research and start somethings now.....

    2. Knowledge. I would want to know it all. From the best tasting foods, random trivia, or even where space ends, or doesn't.

    3. I would want to have the same mutant powers as Wolverine. Metal bones, slow age, fast heeling...

The last one was a toss up from wishing the Yankees never win another game... Lucky for you I would rather be a mutant.

    Those are my wishes...

    Chicago.

  2. Jimmy,

You will always be a mutant. But there is no chance the Yankees will never win again. They have to play the White Sox eventually!

  3. Why wish for money when you can have superpowers?

    1. The power to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted with extreme ease. GG.

    2. The power to live forever. Some people think death is a gift. Those people are n00bs. When you become a supreme being, there is nowhere to go but down, so I'll take eternal life.

    3. I wish whoever gave me these wishes was dead/ceased to exist forever, etc. I don't want any rivals to my supreme powers.

  4. 1. I would wish for the ability to control my hair. Grow and un-grow my beard and hair as i please. YEAH IT'S WEIRD but think about how much time you spend on your hair or shaving or whatever. if it looks good all the time the day is that much better. oh what? is it cold out? lets go grizzly with the beard today.

    2. MONEY. this could be used for myself, and of coarse, i could spend it on everything i've ever wanted, such as instruments, cars, gold teeth, and whatever else i feel like buying. but also i could spend it on my parents, who kill themselves all week at work. if they could kick it everyday i think they would be happy.

    3. more wishes.
